Mixed Reviews
The reviews I have received of my newest book is pretty mixed. There are many who say that they have enjoyed the book. The story line is a pretty interesting laid out one. Then there are others who question if my Aunt or Father would enjoy my book. Who I am I? Why should I know if someone is going to enjoy the book. I have tried to write a thought provoking book with interesting characters. I do let the character speak for themselves. I always tried to show, not tell when presenting the scenes.
Then there was the question whether I should have dedicated my book to God and my adoptive Mother. My writing might have pleased my mother. I wanted to honor my mother for what she had done for me. I always desire to honor God in everything which I do.
Yet I am human. So maybe there was some parts of the book which could have been done better. I am a work in process. So I will take the reviews in mind. I will grow and learn from my mistakes. I shall do better.

ReplyDeleteNow it is almost one year later. I have made a profit of over $500.00 on my first book. I am now working on a second book which should be out by September of 2014. I do have high hopes for this book. My goal is to sell over 1000 books by 2015 of the same time next year.
